World War 2 victory garden collection. Original 1945 victory garden poster by Grover Strong. A homemade 3rd place victory garden prize of five 25 cent war savings stamps. The prize is made out of paper, homemade flowers, red white and blue ribbon and five war stamps. The collection also includes a Victory Garden workbook which is a gardening instruction book. All items have been stored in a wooden display case with a plexiglass front for at least 20 years. The poster has its original creases and some corner creases, some very small tears along the edge and some tack holes along the edges. The poster still has vibrant color and no fading. The poster measures 23" X 16". The victory garden 3rd place prize has staining to the paper. The condition can be clearly seen in the pictures so please examine closely.
