    Soviet Cigarettes Exhibition Poster
    Most of these iconic Soviet cigarettes are dating back to 1950's and most are no longer in production. All used imported tobacco from Cuba and Turkey.
    Soviet government to save a "buck" mixed imported tobacco with Marijuana leafs first by *removing *
    tetrahydrocannabinol.
    They also added cherry flavor to "Holiday Brands" available only during national holidays.
    Many brands had propaganda purpose glorifying history, achievements in space, art and mega construction projects as well as WWII victory. Every Soviet republic had their own national brand and used local dialect to mark the packaging.  Many flat packages were used for a high-tar cannabis mixed *tobacco cigarettes consisting of hollow white paper tube about 60% of cigarette's length with the rest filled with tobacco featuring ultra-thin translucent paper. They called Papirosi. This style of cigarette's manufacturing going back to the 18th century. Overall the taste of all these product by comparison to a modern brands where awful.
    This poster measures 18" X 36" and was intended for the bar showcase's background.
    It will make a beautiful display. Interesting conversation
    piece.
