Presented replica is a classic Greek Hoplite’s sword Xiphos. The main weapon of the heavy infantry Hoplites was spear and the sword was a reserve weapon. Used inter alia in Thermopile Battle (480 BC), Marathon Battle (490 BC) and Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC).
