    Deon Simon 2015 NFL Combine Worn & Signed Gold & Black Under Armour Cleats – Worn for NFL Combine Drills!!!
    Deon Simon is a free agent nose tackle most recently playing for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northwestern State.
    In high school, Simon played defensive line and was named as his team’s MVP as a junior after recording three sacks in one game. Simon was First Team All-District as a junior after stacking up 71 tackles and 10 sacks, along with 5 tackles for loss and 2 fumble recoveries, although he missed lots of action with an ankle injury. He received scholarship offers in 2009 from Kentucky, Colorado, Central Florida, and Southern Mississippi before a 2009 knee injury. He returned to rack up 10 sacks as a senior, and moved on to Northwestern State.
    In 2013 at Northwestern State, Simon started all 12 games at defensive tackle and recorded 42 total tackles including seven for loss. He had a personal-best eight tackles and 1.5 sacks against Central Arkansas including a key stop inside own 10. The massive tackle also collected seven tackles and a sack against Nicholls. He added five tackles and a sack against UAB and five tackles and one-half sack against Langston. For his effort he was an All Southland Conference Honorable Mention in his junior season along with being named as an all-conference Honorable Mention.
    As a senior, Simon was limited to seven games due to a knee injury. He recorded 26 tackles and 5.5 tackles in those seven games, including one sack. Simon rose throughout the NFL Pre-Draft process, beginning with a strong showing at the Senior Bowl. He then enjoyed a strong NFL combine, where Simon led all participants with 35 reps on the 225-pound bench press. Simon has excellent size and is a naturally strong man.
    The NFL Scouting Combine is a week-long showcase, occurring every February in Indianapolis, Indiana Lucas Oil Stadium (and formerly at the RCA Dome until 2008), where college football players perform physical and mental tests in front of NFL coaches, general managers and scouts. With increasing interest in the NFL Draft, the scouting combine has grown in scope and significance, allowing personnel directors to evaluate upcoming prospects in a standardized setting. The 2015 NFL Scouting Combine occurred from February 17–23rd, 2015.
    Deon Simon measured in at the 2015 NFL Combine at 6 foot 4, 321 pounds with 10 1/2 hand size and a 33′ arm length. The defensive tackle had a stellar combine running the 40 yard-dash in 5.12, Vertical Jump –29.5, Broad Jump –105.0, 3 Cone Drill –7.92 and 4.76 on the 20-yard shuttle and an outstanding 35 Reps on the 225 Pound Bench Press which was the top performance amongst his peers.
