    Description

Very Nice, Very Ornate, Masonic Knights Templer Order Ceremonial Sword and Scabbard .
This sword and scabbard are a little more ornate that other Masonic swords I have seen.
There are very intricate etchings on both the sword and the scabbard, as well as very decorative metalwork on both.
It is marked "The Pettibone Bros. MFG Co." on the sword. I am basing the age on Pettibone Manufacturing swords from 1872-1920, most actively between 1880 & 1920.
There are also names on the sword and the scabbard. On the Sword it appears to possibly be "William Franklin Larid", and on the scabbard, "Edward Alfred Kelly".
Both pieces are clean and in good condition, there are of minor signs of wear and handling, some of the painted areas have some wear.
The sword measures about 35" long, the scabbard measures 31" long
I attempted to get pictures of the detail on both pieces, but it was difficult because of their length and the reflection. Please see the pictures for condition.
This is an estate find, and is being sold as is as found, I have no other information or history about this item.
These are very nice pieces, great for any collection !
