This is a reproduction of an English single handed sword typical of those used during the Hundred Years War. It features a wire wrapped hardwood grip and a full-tang, fullered, high carbon spring steel blade. It is designed specifically for reenactment and stage combat.
This sword is New Old Stock from a brick and mortar retail store. It has never been sold but is a little shop worn. There is some oxidation to the metal of the blade and handle which is shown in the pictures.
