From my dad, a US Forces in Germany plate from 1958.   Bright orange with black lettering, very shiny.   One spot of white paint between the 6 and the 7, maybe can be removed.   Marks at lower bolt holes where mounted.   No extra holes.   Heavy steel plate and large, 14”+  by 6”+.
