    This is an original WWII NEWSMAP poster prepared and distributed by the Army Orientation Course, Special Service Division of the United States War Department. This WWII poster draws inspiration from the Merry Melodies animated cartoon short films produced by Warner Bros. to deliver the deadly serious message about the dangers of bobby traps on the battlefield. The artist is not identified by the artwork looks very similar to the Merry Melodies cartoons produced by Warner Brothers. This is a double sided poster with the verso featuring photos and war news from Europe and the Pacific for the week of September 23 to 30, 1943.
    This poster was issued folded and will ship that way and shows light handling wear and some toning from age. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
