1/4 Daguerreotype Tinted Blue Dress Girl & Mother 1840s

Description

1/4 plate daguerreotype, young girl in tinted blue dress with her mother.
Full, complete and intact leather case, no repairs. Exterior leather on the spine is splitting but interior is intact, so the case is in one piece. The  original seals have never been completely opened but they are dried and splitting in some parts. Underside of glass is dirty, dag has a tarnish ring but no other issues.
